The Cost Estimator Role
We are looking for an individual experienced in low-voltage systems that maintains a strong work ethic combined with the ability to multi-task. The Estimator would be completing pricing and designs of low-voltage systems for enterprise environments.
Estimator Responsibilities
- Utilize a Statement of Work to put together an estimate of hours, resources, options, and pricing for customer submittals
- Correspond with the customer as needed pre and post bid to ensure success, these communications must be written, verbal, and most importantly, timely
- Complete all required documentation for the Salesperson to submit the proposal as well as information for recordkeeping
- Visit customer locations from time to time to ensure that we have all environmental knowledge of what we are bidding
- Perform installations on site as needed to ensure skill set is up to date at all times
- Role is based out of Metro Detroit
Who we’re looking for
- Someone who is technically minded and has 3+ years of experience installing low-voltage systems and cabling is preferred, otherwise, a minimum of 1-year experience estimating low-voltage and/or electrical projects is required
- Someone who is experienced with network infrastructure/cabling and audio/video
- Someone who already has experience quoting low-voltage and/or electrical projects
- High School degree required
