Position Overview:
The Field Service Manager is a pivotal role responsible for leading the strategic growth and planning of the deployment team. This role requires strong communication and scheduling/routing skills. You will oversee the management of our low voltage Technicians as well as sub-contractors. You will be responsible for making suggestions for technicians in regard to the rollout, routing and scheduling of large projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent Company’s Core Values, Core Focus and Goals.
- Lead, manage, and provide accountability to the Resource Deployment and FSS Technician teams.
- Staffing and routing large opportunities.
- Manage the FSS Technicians and Onsite Project Coordinators.
- Including hiring/firing
- Training and growth
- Scheduling, routing and PTO
- Maintain a regular meeting cadence with the RD and Technical staff including:
- Engage in weekly team meetings
- Regular touch base meetings
- Quarterly conversations
- Annual Reviews
- Vet sub-contractor candidates.
- Liaison to the Deployment Partners.
- Main and first POC for escalations
- Ensure general usage of partners including new?
- Review and interview as necessary new Deployment Companies
- Manage the sub-contractor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with FSS requirements
- Oversee the on boarding and off boarding process.
- Develop Technician growth plans for both the FSS internal technicians and Deployment Partners.
- Ensuring that Master Service Agreements are executed and maintained.
- Look to proactively make processes better through planning and refinement.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in scheduling and routing field technicians or a similar role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role, managing teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments.
- Project Management background preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing channels, tools, and analytics platforms.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
