About the role:
The Sales Assistant will provide support to the Director of Sales and to the Sales Team overall. It is important that the person in this role is efficient, organized, and has good writing skills.
What you’ll be doing:
+ Manage and develop sales CRM software (Hubspot), including training, development of reports, templates, and workflows, and maintaining data integrity.
+ Assisting with sales proposals and other sales documentation as needed: This will include proofreading but also formatting and grammar review.
+ Managing vendor and supplier diversity sites for new and existing customers and keeping them updated on a regular basis.
+ Maintain Sales data integrity across all systems, including confirming purchase orders and customer data.
+ Acting as a liaison for marketing efforts with our outside firm and following up on tasks.
+ Preparing for trade shows by completing a trade show plan with research about potential customers and also putting together the necessary items for showcasing at the event.
+ Responding to inbound lead inquiries by web and phone.
+ Participate in weekly departmental Level 10 meeting to review metrics, quarterly goals, and open issues.
Who we’re looking for:
+ Someone who has either one year of experience working in a support role on a Sales team or a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
+ Someone with strong computer abilities that can pick up new software easily: This includes strong ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM, ideally HubSpot.
+ Someone who has at least three months of office experience in a professional business setting (internship experience counts)
